Francis has over 20 years of experience in dispute resolution. He advised multinational, PRC and local corporate entities as well as individuals, including logistics companies, banks, insurance companies, contractors, developers, manufacturers, suppliers, statutory bodies, government departments, educational institutes, NGOs, charities, churches, owners’ corporations, professionals and general public etc. in a wide spectrum of legal disputes. He represented clients in courts, arbitral tribunals and quasi-judicial hearings.
Francis is an Arbitrator registered with the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), the Law Society of Hong Kong, eBRAM and Financial Dispute Resolution Centre (FDRC). He was appointed as sole arbitrator to arbitrate corporate, contractual and investment disputes.
Francis is a Mediator registered with the HKIAC, the Law Society of Hong Kong, the Joint Mediation Helpline Office Limited, the Hong Kong Mediation Accreditation Association Limited, the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration (SCIA), eBRAM and the FDRC. He received constant appointments as mediator to facilitate settlement between parties in land, investment, banking and intellectual disputes.
Francis is also a Senior Adjudicator registered with the HKIAC, a nominating body pursuant to the Construction Industry Security of Payment Ordinance (Cap. 652). Francis is qualified to receive appointment to adjudicate payment disputes arising under construction contracts regulated under the said legislation.
Francis was a partner in the dispute resolution department of a well-established local law firm for 4 years before he co-founded his previous Firm in 2017 and then subsequently established WTS Lawyers. Prior to that, Francis was also an associate of a renowned international UK law firm based in Hong Kong and Government Counsel of the Department of Justice of HKSAR.

Janet spent her initial 5 years of legal career as a commercial lawyer in various well-established law firms actively involved in cross-border mergers and acquisitions as well as sale and purchase of business transactions. She also acted for banking clients in financing transactions and advising on diversified legal issues arising from the daily banking business operation.
Janet then joined the in-house legal profession and she was a Senior Legal Counsel of a multi-national banking corporation for over a decade before joining WTS Lawyers. She managed a wide spectrum of legal matters not only in Hong Kong, but also China, Singapore and Japan where the bank operates. She intensively participated in strategic projects, branches establishment and closure, product development and enhancement, financing transactions, and constantly advised on personal data privacy, employment, sourcing, marketing related legal issues.
Being an experienced in-house legal adviser, Janet fully understands the key concerns and pain points whenever a corporation encounters a legal problem, and Janet is keen to approach the problem with business acumen and explore pragmatic options to clients to address their concerns.

Kenneth is a dedicated legal practitioner with a solid academic foundation and extensive professional experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution.
Kenneth obtained an undergraduate law degree from the Chinese University of Hong Kong, where he was awarded a full-tuition scholarship in recognition of outstanding academic performance. Kenneth further obtained a Master of Laws in Arbitration and Dispute Resolution from the University of Hong Kong enhancing his expertise in managing complex disputes and strengthening his ability to advise clients on both litigation and alternative dispute resolution strategies.
A skilled litigator, Kenneth specialises in commercial and civil disputes, with extensive experience advising clients on complex commercial and financial matters. He has represented clients in high-stakes disputes, demonstrating both a proven ability to navigate intricate legal issues and deliver effective advocacy in challenging circumstances.
Beyond litigation, Kenneth is well-versed in alternative dispute resolution. As a member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and an associate member of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators, reflecting a professional dedication to resolving disputes through both traditional and alternative mechanisms. This enables Kenneth to provide clients with comprehensive dispute resolution strategies tailored to their specific needs.

Kitty was admitted as a solicitor in 2024 and is an Associate of WTS Lawyers. She joined the firm in August 2022 as a trainee solicitors and practises primarily in civil and commercial litigation.
Her practice focuses on commercial disputes, including contractual disputes involving overseas companies and shareholder disputes. She also has experience in probate disputes with multi-jurisdictional elements and conflict of laws, as well as construction dispute matters. Kitty is involved in interlocutory applications, including applications for security for costs.
Prior to entering the legal profession, Kitty worked in the garment and finance industries, including roles in a multinational corporation and a leading financial institution. This commercial background informs her strategic and practical approach to contentious matters.
Kitty obtained her Bachelor of Laws from Manchester Metropolitan University and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong.

Vigny is a graduate from the University of Guangzhou major in Chinese Language and Literature. She then completed a master degree in Chinese Linguistics with the Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
Born in Guangzhou Vigny chose to station in Hong Kong to pursue her career. She worked in various law firms in Hong Kong for more than 9 years and gained broad exposure in different areas of legal practice, including litigation, probate, family and matrimonial and conveyancing.
Vigny has handled lots of professional support work for lawyers and her unique cultural background together with strong language capability make her an efficient facilitator when assisting the Firm to deal with matters involving PRC elements.
